We are Back:

The End of our family Media Fast is over. The time flew bye, I miss reading everybody's blogs, I missed a lot. But it is good to see that everyone is doing great!

So I highly recommend that any family should have a month media fast. Some days were harder than others but I think that we learned a lot about our family. We put puzzles together, played games, sat around and talked about our day, had tickle fights, we talked in the car. We had less fighting all the time. When we did listen to music in the car it was only church music, I have never put in Mormon Tabernacle choir in the middle of the week, and I really enjoyed it. I was a more peaceful felling all around.

We all READ!!! That is a miracle in it's self I read 6 books in 5 weeks that is more books than I have read from age 1, and I love it. I actually enjoy reading ( I can't belive it). If you have any book recommendations let me know. Brandon read 2 books on his time off that is also a miracle. Raegan and Brianne also did a lot of reading. When they had nothing to do, they would pick up a book and read. It was wonderful to see.

Adam: I wished everyday that I could turn on the T.V. when Adam was home He did not want to hang out with mom at all. We did play some and I got him to do his chores. We read together a little bit, but it was just not fun at home for him. I never knew were Adam was. He would take off trying to find a friend to play with. ( I did talk to his friends mom's and I'm glad we were all on the same page with no media). So were did not see much of Adam Because t it was more fun to go to his friends homes.

We are back, and I have a few pics to post but it might take awhile. Right now I am just trying to keep up with everyday life and getting caught up on all things media. ( Like the new Twilight trailer I missed)!

Glad to see you are back. I am so addicted, this would probably be a great exercise for me, but I am not quite there yet.

I am so proud of you guys! AMAZING!!!! You have inspired me to read more...I don't know about doing the full-on fast, but I would like to replace a lot of media intake with reading.
