Brandon's baseball team, the Mets, played the Reds on Friday. The game started at 4:30 and at 4:35 Brandon got hit in the mouth by a teammates practice swing. The end of the bat cut straight through his lip severing the muscle, chipped 2 teeth, and turned his front tooth sideways. It took 3 layers of stitches and 45 total minutes of surgery in the ER to get him looking this good. He hasn't cried once through the whole ordeal. He is a tough guy! He'll be at practice wearing his hockey helmet for awhile. The good news is that the Mets beat the Reds for their first win of the season!
